Since 2009, Resource Conservation Partners, the City of Ventura, and the community have worked together to restore the the Wildlife Ponds. California has lost as much as 91% of its original wetlands due to agriculture, urbanization and drought. Wetlands are a critical part of our natural environment. You can help RCP restore the Wildlife Ponds the third Saturday of every month! We remove invasive plants, and replace them with native plants!
